My lil sister is A WHOLE WIFEY!! This past weekend was the most magical and meaningful to date. I’ll be smiling and crying about this for the rest of my life.

Boy oh boy, here we go:
First off - IT’S DONE! We did it!!! I’m so happy and yes I’ve cried a million times today and I may or may not be bawling my eyes out in gratitude as I write this 😂.
This was THE biggest physical challenge I’ve had to date - and this was my third year in a row doing the Half-Marathon. The several weeks leading up to the race, I was living in a lot of anxiety because I didn’t train or prepare compared to previous years - lol, I literally have been having nightmares about this race - and TODAY I put all those pre-conceived notions to SLEEP. I had one goal, finish under 2. B*tch we did that. Excuse my language. 😘
A few months ago, I mentioned to my friend and bruva @mitch_mckay24 i was racing and he should sign up. He immediately did and has been there to support me and have fun while doing it all at the same time. I could not have survived today without him - no doubt about it. This man kept me on pace the entire 13.1 miles!!! Running too fast? “Slow down, breathe, find your comfort zone.” I start throwing up or we took a bathroom break? “We’ve got 35 seconds to make up in the next mile, you’ve got this.” Boom. Done. Tell me what to do 🤣🤣🤣
I didn’t think I would hit my goal today and after being on my hands and knees throwing up on the hardest hill (end of mile 12) he told me what I had to do. And we did it. Thank you so much Mitch, you’re the best.
Thanks you to my friends, my partner and my mama for joining this journey with me. I love yall.

From lots of beach hangs, sand volleyball games, non stop champagne and piña coladas, golf cart sing-a-longs late at night, constant dancing with the crew, and a LOT of happy tears lol.
