It took my kids so long to put their shoes on and walk to the car I had time to look through a whole months worth of pictures for a little IG photo dump and now they’re spinning their umbrellas around in the driveway like the unhurried little whimsical bbs they are.

Sometimes working in an independent bookstore means you spend all day putting together online orders and rearranging your fulfillment space with your coworker.
Then your boss comes in and casually mentions that it’s Independent Bookstore Day.
You have a brief moment where you all forget what day it is and then panic and try to make content.
The content turns out to just be photographed nonsense (which honestly is both nothing new for this page and a great band name if anyone wants it.)
And after all that it still gets posted the next day 😬🥰
