✈︎ Japan, October 2025 ✈︎ Photodump because I over-thought it, then I forgot about it, and now I refuse to leave this to next year 😅 . . . . . Here's a little thing I wrote while we sat at the Kamo River (pic 11), because of course I get in A Mood at least once while travelling: "Kamo's Sonder", 08 Oct 2025 I wonder if the river wonders what the people have gone through as they sit at its bank after a long day. The quiet, the loud, the happy, the sad. I wonder if it wonders what is out there that it will never see. If it has ever seen the tears of mourning and has accepted that it will never understand the idea of being stuck in a time, because all of knows is forward. I wonder if the river wishes to sit still and understand the joy of being young and dipping your toes into its cool water. I wonder how many snapshots of stories it has seen as it rushes past with the pull of gravity, always slipping away with a backward glance that sees nothing at all. I wonder... (I wonder if the river knows that there are people who know) what it's like to ebb and flow, and never belong, and never know.
