It’s the end of an era at Donati’s, the pink-hued, operatic butcher shop that has been an icon of Lygon Street for 53 years. Leo & Marcello passed on the baton to new owners today, but before they did we were lucky to spend some time filming them in their element.
This is a tiny excerpt from a larger documentary work that I’ve been co-producing with @lucie.mcmahon and @lucykostos , archiving small businesses around Melbourne. It’s a project close to our hearts that attempts to capture the spirit of these special places while we have them. More to come <3 🥩🩷

Together with @lucie.mcmahon , we’re building an archive of faces we’ve street scouted, offering casting services for film, fashion, performance and beyond. If you’re looking for people, bring us your brief.
At the same time, Planetworld is where our own projects take shape. As a filmmaker / photographer duo, we are making people-led work that grows from the same instinct as our casting, allowing everyday encounters to guide the way.
