For someone who always has a lot to say, finding the right words about departing the club has been difficult. D.C. United has been my life since I was a kid in the stands at RFK dreaming about being part of this club one day. I got that chance at 16 when I joined the academy in 2010 and I never looked back.
To then come back full time in 2016 after college was a dream come true. Being able to represent the club I grew up supporting has been one of the greatest highlights of my life and I’m proud of what we accomplished during my time. Nearly 16 years of memories and showing up every day with a purpose knowing I was exactly where I hoped to be as a kid.
I have met so many incredible people here. Too many to name and too many photos to choose from. Friends who became family. Mentors who believed in me. Supporters who reminded me every day why this club matters and deserves the best. Thank you to every single one of you who made this journey truly unforgettable.
It’s time for my next chapter. I’m taking a moment to exhale and figure out what comes next, but I am excited and ready for new challenges. If you know of any opportunities in soccer or communications or anything that could use a hardworking and passionate person, I would love to connect.
D.C. United will always be my boyhood club and I wish them nothing but success moving forward into an exciting new chapter under Weiler. Thank you for letting me live my dream and vamos United!

Club legend, captain, and one of my best friends! I’ll try not to get too sappy here but Steve’s friendship has been the highlight of my career since joining DCU in 2016. Congratulations on an incredible 11-year career at the club and more importantly for all the work you did for the community in that time. You’re a role model for myself and countless other people.
