This one’s been a long time coming. 800 feet of pure exposed friction and every movement a reminder of why I love climbing. Grateful for the amazing company, extraordinary views and epic memories.

Still alive; just in my haggard era.

Had a wonderful trip up to Yosemite this weekend. Lots of rocks, trees, gabagool, and beer. Wouldn’t have had it any other way.

35. If you had asked me a decade ago where I thought I’d be now, I’d probably have given a more “conventional” answer. That would imply, however, that there’s a specific destination to arrive at. What I can say, though, is that I’m thrilled that this journey has led me to this current place and time. Thanks, boys, for putting up with me and my whimsical idiosyncrasies.

Time and space may both act in tandem to hamper our ability to coalesce as we once could; but in the end, they’re no match against the power of love. Thanks for coming to visit @enjoysoranges and @owensderek . I’m very much looking forward to our next adventure together.

An unforgettable trip filled with a rollercoaster of emotions. This will be one for the books. Though she may not present in the picture, Teta certainly was there with us in spirit. I will miss you all very much and I can’t wait to see you again soon, inshallah. ❤️

As I am halfway through my wonderfully welcoming stay in Lebanon, it is with the heaviest of hearts that I bear news filled with such sorrow. Yesterday, my beautiful, generous and gracious grandmother passed away in her sleep. It’s been such a strangely somber yet beautifully touching experience to see so many different people come together to remember and celebrate such a remarkable woman. Even through unspeakable hardships and suffering, she remained one of the funniest and most positive human beings I have ever, in my life’s entirety, had the absolute fortune of knowing. I am so unbelievably grateful to have gotten to see and laugh with, alongside my father and family, my grandmother in her final moments on Earth. Rest in peace Teta. You will be loved, remembered and celebrated in all corners of the world for many years to come.
