Celia Cruz (1925–2003), was one of the most influential figures in Afro-Cuban and Latin music history.
She helped bring Cuban rhythms to international audiences, preserved Afro-Caribbean musical traditions, and used her VOICE, STYLE, and PRESENCE to celebrate IDENTITY , RESILIENCE, and JOY.
Her legacy continues to shape how we dance, listen, and gather in community today.

With Apollo Sound, he brought together musicians from Tito Puente, Cortijo y su Combo, and El Gran Combo, alongside legendary arrangers like Papo Lucca, Bobby Valentín, and Perico Ortiz.
He introduced a new salsa sound: two trumpets, a trombone, and a sax, partly inspired by Blood, Sweat & Tears.
Salsa is written with vision, community, and heart.
