I’ve been in the hair industry for 12 years.
I’m all about blondes, brunettes, and a killer blowout - it’s kind of my thing.
I’m the loud laugh in the salon and the hype girl who’ll make sure you leave feeling confident and gorgeous.
I was born in Chile but moved to the Northern Beaches in Sydney at a young age, and I’ve called it home ever since. I speak fluent Spanish, so sometimes a little spicy Latina side comes out. I love all things beach and sun and hanging out with my four-legged bestie.
In the mornings, you’ll catch me fueling up on coffee, but by 5 p.m., it’s margaritas in the sun, laughs with my besties, and soaking up all the good vibes.

What started as an idea while working together over a year ago, has turned into something we’ve always wanted to create.
We’ve poured our hearts into building a salon that feels welcoming, intentional and full of good energy.

I’ve been in the hair industry for 12 years, with a little break in between to try other careers… but I always ended up missing the salon. In 2018 I went back and completed my apprenticeship at Edwards & Co - one of the best opportunities I could’ve had. It pushed me, taught me so much, and really shaped the way I work today.
I grew up on the Northern Beaches, so opening Salon Samar right here in Newport feels special to me. I specialise in blondes and love creating a soft lived-in colour that looks good long after your appointment.
Outside the salon, you’ll usually find me juggling my 2 toddler daughters, Adi and Emmylou, and my dog, Aslan. (I thought I’d add a salon into the mix just to keep things interesting 🤪)
