We are very happy to make the first band announcement for AFF25! Born on a late night in front of a fire in a field; Sallows play traditional folk music about working and not working, summer, winter and all things... With banjo, guitar, whistle, fiddle, harmonium and vocal harmony.. Somewhere between punk and folk @sallowsband take influence from Swan Arcade, Crass, Dick Gaughan, magic mushrooms and plenty of the golden amber.

First full band practice in more than a year! The last one was mostly us making weird noises and trying to sing the songs backwards…

Here’s a gig we’l be doing Feb 25th. Cheers @roughneck_riot for having us on. And apologies if I’ve mangled your poster, despite having it in 9 different formats I still can’t get it sized to the page. Ah well. Technology is a wall they are building around us, these are the cracks.
The next line is ‘unique Cumbrian folk sound’. Had to do a hot edit on the flyer there and figured the date at the top was more important than the blurb. Some great nights lined up at the Parish Centre, Ambleside, this being the first, 13th Nov, BYOB!
