Us, going into this Thursday at @jptnewport for the 25th Anniversary of American Psycho, sponsored @rejectsbeerco . We'll be teeing up the movie starting at 7:30pm with some spooky tunes, playing songs so catchy, most people probably don't listen to the lyrics. But they should, because it's not just about the pleasures of conformity and the importance of trends. It's also a personal statement about the band itself. See ya there!

As hilarious as it is disturbing, Mary Harron’s NYC-set serial killer satire, based on Bret Easton Ellis’s critically acclaimed novel, plays no less brilliantly today than it did upon release 25 years ago, thanks in large part to Christian Bale’s towering performance as Patrick Bateman. If anything, the satire bites harder today!
In New York City in 1987, a handsome, young urban professional, Patrick Bateman (Christian Bale), lives a second life as a gruesome serial killer by night. The cast is filled by the detective (Willem Dafoe), the fiance (Reese Witherspoon), the mistress (Samantha Mathis), the coworker (Jared Leto), and the secretary (Chloë Sevigny). This is a biting, wry comedy examining the elements that make a man a monster.
