The Sigma Alpha Lambda Chapter invites all Alpha Scholars as well as their parents and guardians to session #5 of this year’s Alpha Scholars program! We will host two separate sessions where in our last half, parents are invited to attend a Q&A for the Alpha Scholars College Tour. Students will have the opportunity to participate in team building and collaborative exercises including a review of their year, while parents will have the opportunity to learn more about the chapter’s annual college tour as well as register their high school aged student for the upcoming event. The Annual Alpha Scholars College Tour is back this Spring to provide another unique opportunity for high school male students AND starting this year 8th grade boys as well to explore Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) firsthand! Over the course of two days, participants will visit Fayetteville State University, Shaw University, Livingstone College, Johnston C. Smith, NC A&T, and NCCU. The experience includes guided campus tours, interactions with college representatives, and college readiness workshops designed to provide valuable insights into academic programs, student life, and admissions requirements. Chaperoned by experienced mentors and fraternity members, this tour ensures a structured and supportive environment where students can gain motivation and exposure to higher education opportunities. Meals, lodging, and transportation are all included in the registration fee, making this an all-inclusive and enriching experience.
WHAT’S INCLUDED IN THE $295 REGISTRATION FEE:
