Today was a great day for volunteering in the Horticultural Zone! We are grateful for the faithful volunteers that come daily to help keep the produce growing. Last year the garden was able to distribute over 10,700 pounds of vegetables to members!

We proudly hosted a successful volunteer service project in partnership with Jefferson Health Plans as part of their Day of Caring initiative. The event brought together dedicated volunteers committed to supporting community wellness, beautification, and facility enhancement efforts.
During their time at the Kroc Center, volunteers completed a range of impactful service projects that gave a helping hand to the Kroc Facilities team.

Nike Football Camps is teaming up with Philly NFL Flag to bring a high-energy Co-Ed Flag Football Camp to the Salvation Army Kroc Center of Philadelphia.

Athletes will sharpen their skills, compete, and have fun while learning from top flag football coaches. This camp is built for all experience levels—from first-timers to confident playmakers—and focuses on growth, teamwork, and having a great time on the field.

HOW COOL: To support senior citizens, this Jefferson Health educator has cooked up something special. All those who participated walked away with a better understanding of plant-based foods and healthy eating. All of this was held at the Salvation Army Kroc Center Philadelphia.
The 2026 Kroc Spring Recital was a fantastic display of the talented youth that walk through these doors on a daily basis!
From Dance, to musical instruments, acting, and choir, the Kroc Academy came together to put on an amazing show!
