Sharp, shiny, and absolutely not here to play nice.
After crafting everything from corsets and shackles to frames, Saïx unveils her most recent masterpiece the Widowmakers; a sculptural, stainless-steel stiletto with interchangeable sharpened spikes and an unyielding dagger heel. With a skin-piercing tip, it demands submission from any wretched soul in its path.
In these cinematic images by photographer Feyd Angels, the Widowmakers protagonist struts into the spotlight in a series of risqué scenes. Part ornament, part torture device - witness confrontational couture worn by the artist herself. In an equally formidable metal corset, Saïx embodies a figure that is both muse and menace.
Teaming up with Berlin’s own Leo Luchini — fresh off his debut alt-metal album ‘Slug It Out’ — the two perform their own stunts in a daring Ballardian play of proximity, punishment and pain. The razor-sharp heel weaponizes each step, digging into his chest, hand and even mouth. Luchini sacrifices himself to the steel seductress as his body becomes an instrument of stylized tension and submission.
Feyd’s lens elevates the collaboration into a lucid fever-dream. The photos vibrate with a grainy pulse, whilst maintaining a certain dark elegance. Their textures echo the grit of industrial metal music and the otherworldly allure of fetish subcultures.
Their alloyed vision positions the Widowmakers not merely as the cuntiest stiletto sculpture it is, but as an icon of savage beauty, dangerous mystique and transgressive imagination.
