We’re excited to reveal a surprise addition to this year’s Norbergfestival Remixed competition – a technical award presented in collaboration with GoVinyl and Saintpid Mastering. This is a competition within the competition, focused entirely on mix quality for vinyl. The prize will go to the track with a mix that shows the best potential for vinyl – one that provides the right foundation for a great vinyl master. It’s a standalone award, open to all participants except the top 3 winners of the main competition. The winner will receive: – A dedicated vinyl-optimized mastering by Saintpid Mastering – A custom vinyl dubplate from GoVinyl, with two options:  → 10 copies with 5 minutes of music per side  → or 20 one-sided copies with 5 minutes of music (winner’s choice) Why? Because some mixes just deserve to be on wax.
