I miss these people so much. Honestly let's just all show up to the theatre and do the show again, who's gonna stop us? The cops? HA! We have 3 of them on our side! Anyway... "I'm just happy to be here and I hope I can help the ball club." That line from this incredible show sums up my experience perfectly. I was called one night after getting home from teaching by @ericwoodall asking if I wanted to join the cast as a swing... 2 weeks after they already started🫨!! I almost said no... But the universe REALLY wanted me to join because my boss at school encouraged me to go for it and found me a sub for a month! I was nervous at first, this is the most rolls I've ever covered as a swing, and I had to learn everything very fast. Like... "95 miles an hourrrrr" fast. But turns out when you have a cast full of people who are on it, they make it really easy for you. They welcomed me into the family immediately. Turns out, I was apparently meant to be in the entire run of this show, because that's exactly what happened...💙💙💙. I got to have THE Nik Walker throw insane insults at me every night, and in turn I got to grab him by the nuts. I got to hear THE Carmen Cusak sing my favorite songs in the show and blow the roof every night (truly... Wow). And watching John Behlmann cut a fool as Nuke... I mean you just had to be there🤣. This show will forever hold a special place in my heart for so many reasons. I love all these people so much. I can't believe I got to do this. It's been one week since we closed this incredible show. I love and miss these folks and the magic we made of that stage. We put our literal blood, sweat, and tears into this show.
