For businesses involved in importing goods, this is an important update to be aware of. Companies that directly paid import tariffs under IEEPA may be eligible for federal tariff refunds as the process now begins rolling out in phases. Businesses that may qualify are encouraged to: - Review importer records - Set up ACE portal access - Enroll in ACH for electronic refunds - Confirm eligibility with a customs broker Please note: this does not apply to all tariffs or all businesses. Section 232 and Section 301 tariffs are not included in the refund process. Additional resources at link in bio.
