“Sometimes I create just to feel.
No brief.
No client.
Just light, silence, and emotion.
These are the quiet moments that shape me as an artist.

Pickey my heart broke when I heard you had died. I called you Pickey and you always answered like a joke you loved. You were my friend. When I saw your post about needing assistance I thought you were expecting a house cleaner. I missed the one that mentioned going to a hospital. I wondered why you cut your hair, and I thought to myself - it’s Mickey na. Your creativity knew no bounds. Your kindness and readiness to be of help was legendary. Last time I was in Abuja I stayed at yours. You were always ready to welcome me and share what you had. Your death hurt. It was a hard punch to the gut. My phone fell out of my hand when I saw the post that announced your passing. I still find it hard to believe you would leave so soon, so fast. Michaela Moye this is a difficult farewell. I still can’t just say goodbye.
