جدي العزيز بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم إنا لله وإنا إليه راجعون. بقلوب مؤمنة بقضاء الله وقدره، نودعك يا جدي الحبيب، ونشهد أنك رحلت إلى جوار رب كريم، رحيم بعباده، نرجو لك الرحمة والمغفرة وأن يجعل الله مثواك الجنة. لقد كنت لي قدوة منذ الصغر، حين رأيتك ترسم لأول مرة، وألهمتني أن أسير على نفس الدرب. كنت رجلًا عرف بالنزاهة والصدق، لم يعرف قلبك إلا العطف والعدل، وشهد لك كل من عرفك بطيب الخلق وحسن المعاملة. كنت ابنًا مخلصًا لفلسطين، لم تنسها يومًا، وكانت حاضرة في رسوماتك كما كانت حاضرة في دموعك على حال شعبك، تلك الدموع التي كانت تروي جراح قلبك منذ أيام النكبة، حين أجبر شعبنا على النزوح والشتات. جدي محمود دياب أبو عسكر، رحل إلى رحمة الله في السادس عشر من مايو، في نفس الليلة التي نحيي فيها ذكرى النكبة الفلسطينية، وكأن روحه اختارت الرحيل في يوم يذكرنا بألم الوطن الذي لطالما حمله في قلبه. ورغم أنه كان رجلًا محبًا للعزلة الهادئة، امتلأ المسجد بمن أحبوه وأرادوا أن يصلوا عليه صلاة الجمعة، ورافقوه إلى مثواه الأخير، وهذا خير شاهد على محبته في قلوب الناس وحسن أثره في حياتهم. نسأل الله أن يرحمك رحمة واسعة، وأن يجعل قبرك روضة من رياض الجنة، وأن يجمعنا بك في دار الخلد، وأن يمن علينا جميعًا بفلسطين حرة كما كنت دائمًا تحلم وتدعو. اللهم اغفر له وارحمه، وعافه واعف عنه، وأكرم نزله ووسع مدخله، واغسله بالماء والثلج والبرد، ونقه من الذنوب والخطايا كما ينقى الثوب الأبيض من الدنس. رحمك الله يا جدي، وجمعنا بك في جناته، آمين. ——————————————— EN and FIN in the comments

Yesterday was unexpected. Our awesome team of filmmakers ended up winning two prizes for the @uneton48 short documentary competition. Best cinematography and audience favourite. I'm speechless and we're ecstatic about this. Thank you for my wonderful team @sieraa_bravo @fannyfantsunen and @such_insta , @uneton48 , Dokumenttikilta ry and everyone else involved! This was a courageous step and an idea out of the box to go with and I'm happy we believed in ourselves. More to come on our movie Gyoul! 💜 Much love!

I am so happy to share that the short documentary film 'Gyoul', which I co-directed and produced at the Uneton 48 Doc Film Competition with my team Euforia won two prizes: ▪️Best Cinematography 🏆 ▪️Audience Favorite 🏆 Also also nominated for the Jury's favorite. This was truly unexpected surprise for us. What was most special about this experience was that I got to work with my talented and dream team members and truly enjoyed the process of making this unique and quirky film. We really was brave in our creative direction and approach, which I believe why it resonated with the viewers. Thanks, team @such_insta @saffe_saffron @fannyfantsunen and @uneton48 for this very special experience. So here it goes as the competition slogan says, "Creativity is an open invitation." 🫶
