Who is who? Is it cake or is it a picture of our safety champion Stanley? 🤷🤷♀️
We know it is impossible to tell them apart, so we’d love your help.
Comment with a ❤️ for cake or a 👍 if you think it’s our mate Stanley to give us a nudge in the right direction 🙏
As part of SA History Month this May, we’re looking back at how workplace safety has been communicated over the years. This vintage poster from the National Safety Council of Australia (now known as @nscafoundation ) reminds workers to stop work and stay alert for hazards.
Different era. Same message.
Safety matters.

Today, we paused together.
We stood with families, colleagues and our community at the Workers’ Memorial Service to remember those who lost their lives, and those whose lives were changed forever due to injury or illness because of work related incidents.
Each year on 28 April, Workers’ Memorial Day reminds us to reflect on the people behind the numbers and to renew our commitment to safer workplaces.
In Australia, about 200 people lose their lives at work every year and more than 125,000 are seriously injured. Each number is a person. A family. A future altered.
Today also marks World Day for Safety and Health at Work, with this year’s focus on mentally healthy workplaces and managing psychosocial hazards.
Days like today remind us that safety at work is not a choice that we can choose to take on board or not. It is a necessity where if not taken seriously, it can turn from an ordinary workday ending safely to lives being put at risk.
