On April 11, 2024, U.S. Congressman Anthony D’Esposito proudly announced the “Define to Defeat Act” to combat antisemitism (see link in bio) The bill, if passed, will apply the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance (IHRA) working definition of antisemitism to current federal civil rights laws. Because Jews in the U.S. deserve to have the same protections against discrimination as everyone else. Currently, Jewish identity is so multifaceted, that without a standard definition for authorities to reference when analyzing the intent behind illegal, discriminatory actions, it is easy for antisemites to hide behind this ambiguity and commit unlawful acts against Jews with impunity. The bill solves that problem by requiring the relevant U.S. government authorities to consider, as contextual rebuttable evidence, the gold-standard IHRA definition of antisemitism when assessing the motivation behind already unlawful behavior if there is an allegation that the target was chosen because of an aspect of their Jewish identity. We thank you Congressman @anthonydespo and your office @repdesposito and the @njac.law for working together with us on this critical piece of legislation. #definetodefeat #combatantisemitism #Endjewhatred

Silence on terror, Obsession with Israel Instead of condemning the Iranian regime for murdering thousands of innocent protesters, this student chooses to haggle over the numbers. “10,000 is the number,” he corrects, before immediately pivoting to attack Israel. This hypocrisy is exposed time and time again, human rights only seem to matter to them when they can be weaponized against us. But we won’t let this noise discourage us. The truth is on our side, and as long as we continue to stand tall, ask the tough questions, and expose reality for what it is, justice will prevail

Despite (or probably because) @nycmayor grew up a son of a @columbia professor, surrounded by false narratives, he shows again how little he actually knows about "Palestinians" and the history of Israel. In the video his office produced to spread propaganda against Israel, he features a European Muslim woman who is crying about her family moving out of Israel when a Jewish country was declared. So the "disaster" or the "Nakba" for this kid was her parents hating that they are not under Muslim government anymore, and moving back to Europe. Since his father, @columbia prof Mahmood Mamdani writes mainly antisemitic fiction about Israel, here is some real history about this lady's origins: Inea Bushnaq's family was Muslim Bosniaks who fled Yugoslavia in the 1880's when the Austo-Hungarian Empire took over and the Muslim feared retribution for enslaving and torturing Christians. They moved to the Ottoman Empire to live under Muslim rule, spent a couple of generations in Israel, but never mixed with the local Arab population (that's why the blue eyes). Their number dwindled due to disease, and a lot left when the British Empire took over. Indeed in 1948 a lot of them fled or were evacuated from their homes, but they were moved to other areas in Israel. They left with all their belongings in an ordered manner by all accounts. Her people were never massacred (as many Jews in Israel and Arab countries were throughout the years) or expelled from the country (as most Jews were from Arab countries). Also Zionists did not come into Jerusalem in 1948, it was under Jordanian control until 67, she is not Arab despite the books shown in the video, and how befitting that the "visit Palestine" poster is a Zionist poster done by a Jewish Israeli to promote Aliya.

At today’s Skokie Festival of Cultures, the Palestinian booth reportedly displayed paintings of “martyrs” while playing “From the River to the Sea.” This is not culture. This is incitement dressed up as culture. Skokie is home to Holocaust survivors, Jewish families, and one of the most vibrant Jewish communities in America. Public festivals should celebrate heritage, not glorify terror or normalize slogans calling for Israel’s destruction.

Former Northwestern University President Morton Schapiro was pushed out from delivering Georgetown Law’s commencement address after facing backlash from students over his pro-Israel views and criticism of antisemitism on college campuses. A student petition accused Schapiro of holding “harmful” opinions about the Israel-Gaza war, leading to mounting pressure for his removal from the ceremony. Georgetown Law later replaced Schapiro with Professor David Cole, who previously argued that defending Hamas’s “right to fight back” is not antisemitic.

What is the Nakba and who is REALLY to blame? Perhaps it’s Lebanon, Jordan, Syria, and Egypt. Each neighbouring states responsible for convincing Arabs living in Israel to abandon their homes with the promise that they would destroy the newly established Jewish state of Israel in 1948, promising them an Israel free of Jews. That didn’t go particularly well for any of them, miraculously, so the logical response for the terrorist apparatus is to blame Israel (the Jews).

A terrorist commander was accused of planning three attacks across the U.S. and faced terrorism charges on Wednesday. Mohammad Al-Saadi is accused of attempting to hire someone — who turned out to be an undercover member of law enforcement — to carry out the attacks, which were planned for NYC, Los Angeles and Scottsdale, Arizona. He is expected to appear in a federal court in lower Manhattan on Wednesday for his initial appearance, according to two sources familiar with the charges. Al-Saadi is a commander of Kata’ib Hizballah, a U.S. designated foreign terrorist organization operating in Iraq with ties to Iran’s IRGC — which the U.S. has also designated a foreign terrorist group — according to the complaint. Al-Saadi was also responsible helping to orchestrate 18 attacks across Europe since the start of the Iran war, including at a synagogue in Liège, Belgium, a Jewish school in Amsterdam, at the Bank of America building in Paris and arson attacks in London. The attacks were carried out “in the name of Harakat Ashab al-Yamin al-Islamiya” – or HAYI – “a component of Kata’ib Hizballah,” the complaint says. Last month, Al-Saadi tried to hire an undercover law enforcement agent, who was posing as a Mexican cartel member, to set a NYC synagogue and two Jewish centers, one in Los Angeles and one in Scottsdale, on fire, according to the complaint. Al-Saadi offered to pay him $10,000 for committing the attacks, and asked that they be recorded on camera. He was charged with two counts of conspiring to provide material support to a foreign terrorist organization, two counts of conspiring to provide material support for acts of terrorism, one count of conspiracy to bomb a place of public use and one count of destruction of property by means of fire or explosive. The NYPD confirmed the allegations of a planned terrorist attack in a statement to NBC News.

San Francisco State University is now offering a B.A. in Race & Resistance Studies. While the program description uses academic language, the university says the degree “examines both the race-related processes that underlie many social problems and the multiple forms of resistance and struggle aimed at achieving racial social justice.” Which raises the question: what careers does this degree actually prepare students for beyond professional agitation?
