My first album, LOST IN AMERICA arrives on July 11th. The first single will be here this friday, April 25th and honestly this is the best music I’ve made so far on this music journey.
I made this for the children of immigrants. The kids who lead 2 lives. That try to fit into the world outside and within their homes. In the end we’re all just LOST IN AMERICA and trying to find a way out or through.

Saekyi’s LOST IN AMERICA is a deep and relevant must-listen. The title track is from his debut album of the same name, in partnership with @genius . It’s a clear combination of punchy metaphors and dark instrumental with African vocals that tie back to his Ghanaian roots. The beginning notes of the song, to put it simply, sound like war. Which is fitting for such a powerful and social-justice focused song. The rap-influenced but overall genre-less song really knows how to skirt the lines between uniqueness & relatability. It’s clear that Saekyi has solidified his place at the forefront of the Virginia underground music scene.

When we first heard Free Fall, we knew we wanted to remix it. It stood out on our remix list alongside iconic classics, and we weren’t even sure how it ended up there—but something told us to reach out anyway.
While he initially thought our email was spam, he recognized Martin’s name and luckily responded. That led to us talking over Zoom about music and community and with Saekyi joining the Parasol roster, with us repping his project for sync.
The remix is live promoting the Super Bowl on NBC and Peacock and out now on all streaming services. The first sync of many 🖤
