Receiving (help, compliments, unexpected gifts) has always been uncomfortable for me. However, one of the (many MANY) things therapy has helped me acknowledge is that if I am a very generous person who enjoys serving the community and giving (help, compliments, and unexpected gifts), isn’t it very reasonable that my friends/fam/community want to express their love/support for me in a similar way?
🤯
You might be like “duh, girl TF” lol but that was a bit of an “AHA” moment for me.
So this is the next step in that journey of letting people love on me out loud/help affirm me to step further into my purpose (despite the discomfort).
No pressure for you OBVIOUSLY…please only do so if you have the means!

So happy because I got the chance to tell @nedratawwab how her books (especially Drama Free) have legitimately changed my life. I have recommended and gifted them to several loved ones. She is just as delightful and wise in-person as she is on page and on screen. She said she was making eye contact with me throughout the event because she was getting such good energy (🥹!) — her books TRULY deserve the attribution for helping me make decisions in service of my highest vibration. Grateful & excited to see what growth The Balancing Act will activate 💖
