itâs very nostalgic to see in person, someone i first found out about on a talent show when i was a kid, and then hearing their songs on the radio and growing up with them.
my inner middle earth was also activated lol when i saw yaelokre opening for the show. iâve also resonated with ena moriâs music and style because she embodies someone that I want to be.

In the Philippines, comfort is something you taste.
It lives in steam rising from a bowl, in quiet rituals that carry us through the day.
This is my story of two momentsâ
not separate, but connected.
âď¸ Morning â GoTo Comfort Latte
My daily driver, a dish of warmth and restorationâ
ginger, toasted rice, and garlic coming together to soothe and ground.
Using Giffard Ginger and Hazelnut, I translate that comfort into coffeeâbalancing spice, nuttiness, and gentle sweetness.
Ingredients:
⢠19 g espresso
⢠90 ml rice milk
⢠60 ml oat milk
⢠20 ml Giffard Ginger Syrup
⢠10 ml Giffard Hazelnut Syrup
⢠1 spoon homemade ginger-garlic-infused rice crispies
⢠Tiny pinch salt
Method:
Steam milk with syrups and salt
Pour over espresso
Garnish with rice crispies placed on the rim to meet the nose before each sip
A drink that restoresâ
soft, familiar, and quietly healing.
đ Midnight â Pares Reverie
As the day deepens, comfort becomes indulgence.
Inspired by beef paresârich broth, star anise, and caramelized depth.
Built as a spirit-forward serve using Giffard Anise and Caramel, layered with bourbon and clarified beef broth for a savory, aromatic finish.
Ingredients:
⢠45 ml bourbon
⢠10 ml clarified beef broth
⢠25 ml Giffard Anise Syrup
⢠5 ml Giffard Caramel Syrup
⢠1 dash saline solution (10%)
⢠2 dashes Angostura bitters
Method:
Stir over ice
Strain over a large cube
Garnish with a star anise pod
A drink that lingersâ
