Through moonlit streets on silent feet,
A devil hums a charming beat.
With cap askew and wicked grin,
He waltzes where the night begins.
His laughter curls like candle’s smoke,
A joke half-told, a spell half-spoke.
His crimson coat—a flickering flame—
He whispers truths but twists your name.
He twirls his cane, tips off his hat,
A gentleman—but just like that,
He steals the stars, he dims the light,
And spins the world into the night.
Yet even in his trickster’s glee,
He dances not for you or me,
But for the sheer delight he finds
In tangling fate and teasing minds.
