EnviroNZ, Tauranga – New Depot Build
New depot built for Enviro NZ Tauranga, designed and built by SABRE Construction.
This purpose-built office/break room was designed to be built onsite but has the ability to be disconnected from the existing piles and transported to a new site if needed, future-proofed from the ground up.
Exposed trusses interlink the canopy structure, with the use of Prolam providing a durable, all-weather shelter for staff.
Thanks to @environz.co.nz and DrivePM for trusting us to deliver this project.

Project Update – Kainga Ora Partnership
@kaingaoragovtnz
We’re incredibly proud to share the completion of our latest project for Kainga Ora – three beautiful new homes built with care, purpose, and community in mind.
Over just 80 days, our team at Sabre Construction delivered 2 two-bedroom homes and 1 three-bedroom home, designed to provide safe, comfortable living for families in an area experiencing a critical shortage of social housing.
This isn’t just about building houses – it’s about creating hope, stability, and opportunity for those who need it most. We know the impact a warm, secure home can have, and it means the world to us to contribute to a better future for these families.
A huge thank you to everyone involved – your hard work have made a real difference. 💛

Bulklines - Bulk Storage Building, Hinuera.
Last year, we had the privilege of collaborating with Bulklines, Steelworks and CHS Engineering on the design, ground improvements and construction of a Bulk Store shed project in Hinuera.
This steel was originally part of a shed built in the 1990s at the Port of Tauranga, which Pete & Cindy Barker of Bulklines had stored on-site with the intention of reusing it in the future. By repurposing this material, we demonstrated how structural steel can be reused in future construction projects, helping to reduce waste, conserve energy, and lower carbon emissions.
This project showcases our teamwork, with SABRE Civil undertaking significant ground improvements, SABRE Commercial constructing the sheds, and SABRE Horticultural adding the artificial shelter belt.
In 2024, Steelworks and this project deservingly received the International @constructsteelorg Excellence in Sustainability Award in Charlotte, North Carolina.
