Say hello to Kaitlynn (aka KRad) of @sabertoothstudio , bringing bold, handcrafted print and mixed-media work with a clear, recognizable visual voice 🗣️⠀ ⠀ Each piece is hand-carved and printed, drawing from the natural world and layered themes to create imagery that feels cohesive and unmistakably its own. Using traditional linocut techniques, designs are developed into intentional, limited product lines that extend across prints, clothing, bandanas, totes, and ceramic pieces. Sabertooth Studio is deeply community-focused, creating functional art meant to be worn, used, and lived with. Every item is designed and made in-house, prioritizing originality, material honesty, and long-term collectability. Not to mention, KRad has only recently moved to the area, so let's make sure to give them a warm PNW welcome!⠀ ⠀ ☀️ Mark your calendar to check out Sabertooth Studio and other makers at the Making Local Market on Saturday, May 23rd in Bothell from 10am–4pm, rain or shine!⠀⠀ ℹ️ For all the market details, FAQs, and a full vendor list visit our link in bio (or makinglocal.com/may-2026).⠀⠀ ⠀⠀ #MakingLocalMarkets #MakingLocalMarketBothell #ShopLocalSupportLocal #ThingsToDoInBothell #EastsideSeattleEvents⠀⠀

I’ve officially lived in Washington for three weeks as of TODAY! I’m absolutely loving my job, loving my new home, and loving my friends! I hope to be making art again and catching up on here soon, but for now I’m taking it as slow as this little guy! A VERY HUGE THANKS to @splendorandstone and @kurt_wawi for being 10,000/10 friends and supportive and helpful through this entire move! Literally could not have done it without ya! Love you both!! Also, a giant thank you to all the artists and friends who’ve been so welcoming to me as I get to know the area! I’m lookin’ at you: @_saikick_ @swellstitchworks @primaevalpress @juliannanorth_ @driftingnowhe.re @hannah_swanson_art @tarradickson And finally, this song is one of my all time faves by @snagmke and I had the great honor of playing cello with them on this record! 🖤 MKE 4EVA

I’m so proud of my first ever quilting project (and first sewing project in general)! This past year, I met my amazing friend and mentor Francine in some of my classes at the lifelong learning center. Last spring, she brought me to an event called Stitchers in the Dark. It’s like secret Santa for quilting! You write your name and stuff you like or don’t like on a piece of paper and someone picks your name and makes you quilt squares based on what you wrote! My person said they liked birds and flowers, so because I’m new to sewing I decided to use what I do know…block printing! I printed a western meadowlark and a bitterroot flower in the center of all my blocks and mixed a browning green ink for the prints! This was such a fun project and I hope to find more quilters to get to know in Tacoma! #quilting #blockprinting #quilting #printmaker #lino

I’m SO proud of my first ever ceramic furniture piece created in my class with @jacks__arts at @the_clay_studio_of_missoula ! My goal was to build a shelving unit that can stack on itself hooking together like legos, and have separate pieces that can be moved individually. I was able to complete five separate units and hope to make more and build this out bigger in the future! I learned so much in this class about building big structures and can’t wait to try again, fixing some mistakes i made in regard to warping and scale! Also, I got this cool little glass light fixture at @homeresource , and knew I wanted to incorporate it into the shelving as a vase! Finally, maybe the biggest win was that it perfectly fits my records! Everything I own is packed away in boxes for my move but I snagged a few out to share! I can’t wait to set this up in my new home in Tacoma soon! #ceramic #ceramicfurniture #ceramicart #records #ceramicsculpture
