QuĂ© lindo es terminar un proyecto que no tiene ningĂșn otro fin mĂĄs que hacerme feliz y que expresa mi respeto hacia esta prĂĄctica ancestral. Las veces que estuve dentro de un temazcal, sentĂ que pertenecĂa ahĂ, me sentĂa cĂłmoda con las plantas, con las piedras, con el calor, los cantos y los rezos. QuizĂĄs por esa fascinaciĂłn dediquĂ© mi tiempo a este fanzine y a estas lĂĄminas, que surgen de un temazcal que experimentĂ© en San JosĂ© del PacĂfico, un pueblo de Oaxaca con una energĂa alucinante. How nice it is to finish a project that has no other purpose than making me happy and expressing my respect for this ancestral practice. When Iâm inside a temazcal, I feel like I belong thereâwith the plants, the stones, the heat, the chants, and the prayers. Maybe that fascination is what led me to create this fanzine and these prints, inspired by a temazcal I experienced in San JosĂ© del PacĂfico, a town in Oaxaca with the most amazing energy.
