Reimagining unused city infrastructure as a new ground for learning and collective growth. My project transforms the space above the train rails into an urban extension of the school, a park, a circulation system, and a platform for connection.
The structure is supported by a six-foot waffle system that helps mute the noise from the trains below, activating a muted part of the city while offering moments of pause, places to watch the trains, gather, and experience motion as part of the architecture itself. It’s a proposal for a living, growing structure that can expand in any direction, following the rhythm of the rails.

Exploring how architecture can create new forms of collective living through patterns of repetition and connection. This studio focused on designing micro-housing within dense urban contexts. Thinking about how units relate to one another, how shared spaces emerge, and how architecture responds to systems of access, privacy, and economy. My project investigates how small spaces can still feel open, social, and deeply connected to the city around them.

Reimagining the contemporary school as an architectural response to today’s social and cultural shifts. This studio investigates the relationship between learning, play, and spatial organization. Through precedent analysis, site research in Los Angeles, and design exploration, my project examines how a school’s architecture can mediate between ground and sky, interior and exterior, to create new ways of inhabiting spaces for education.
