Delivery bay or day spa? Hard to tell 🌲 Cupressus ‘Leighton Green’ lined up and ready to go and filling the delivery bay with that piney freshness, all that’s missing is a sauna and a cold plunge.

Once a dark space with a shed and enclosed pergola blocking natural light - now our Darwin garden. Designed around the concrete pool, with lush planting and soft perennials weaving through the pool fence. A cathedral pergola now draws light back into the space. Full reveal coming soon. The Crepe Myrtles have burst into the new year with popping colour. A tree that performs at every season; summer is fun and colour.

What started as a steep, unusable space has now become one of our favourite garden transformations. By incorporating a pedestrian gate, burnished concrete steps, bench seating and two soft terraces, we were able to turn an awkward slope into a space you actually want to be in. Perennials now spill and sway through the garden — Billy Buttons, Verbena, Teucrium and Pratia weaving between the concrete steps. It’s one of those gardens that feels inviting the moment you step in. We’re proud to have designed, built and now care for this space. In the Davenport courtyard garden, a concrete planter anchors the space, with a Lagerstroemia (Crepe Myrtle) bringing soft seasonal colour. Bluestone paving curves around dwarf Ophiopogon Japonicas, while Salvia officinalis (Sage), Tulbaghia violacea (Society Garlic) and Rosmarinus officinalis (Rosemary) soften the edges and add texture, scent and subtle colour. The Crepe Myrtle is underplanted with Dichondra ‘Silver Falls’, which drapes gently over the planter’s edge, adding a soft, trailing element. Silver Gull granite wraps through the property, linking the courtyard and front garden, while evergreen structure keeps the garden feeling alive year-round. Which of these plants would you love to see in your garden? Paving @allstoneptyltd Trees @redstem_nursery Plants @sa.grown

Hardy and handsome, Acer negundo is a stunning tree. "Sensation" is a sterile form of this impressive Box Elder. A worthy tree for our SAGardens. #sagardencentres #southaustralia #plantsmakepeoplehappy #plantsforsouthaustraliangardens #NGISA #supportlocalbusiness #masterlandscaperssa #sagrown
