A fully restored 1971 Datsun 240Z Series I by @s30.world we photographed earlier this year.
Originally acquired by S30 World and imported to Budapest, it underwent a multi year refurbishment completed in 2024 before being placed on static display in their museum in the Netherlands.
Refinished in Safari Gold over black vinyl, the car is powered by a 2.4 liter inline six paired with a 4 speed manual transmission and rides on 14 inch steel wheels. Details include front disc brakes, a woodgrain steering wheel and shift knob, and a Hitachi AM radio.
This Z will be joining us for long term storage here at @motorunion , and we’re excited to continue working alongside @garage44.adam and @s30world to capture future restorations and imports brought stateside by the team.

A photo recap of my most recent trip to @s30world to inspect some inbound cars and drive the S30.One test car. In a couple weeks we will import 2 more 240Z’s. The Monte Carlo Red car (HLS30-00057) is one of the earliest Z cars in existence and will be shown at @greenwichconcours in May.
The yellow car is a test mule for an exciting project that modernizes the S30 experience with many upgrades to make it a usable and reliable GT car.
On the lift is a total custom 280Z build featuring many custom designed parts including a billet aluminum block RB36. Much more to come from @s30world and Garage 44.

Last week, together with Tom Kelemen from our workshop in Budapest, we put a technically completely overhauled 918 orange 1972 California Survivor with 26,000 miles through its paces at the workshop in the Netherlands. Adam Eisenhauer from Garage44 took the photos.
