I LUV YOU @coachella @thedolab 🫶 TY FOR MAKING MY DREAMS COME TRUE! 🌴🌈🥹 It is still hard to process and put into words how mind blowing and humbling this experience was - from being an attendee at this festival for over a decade, to now opening up my favorite stage and creating the soundtrack for your weekend 🤯 there were definitely more than a few tears shed on stage (which hasn’t quite ever happened for me before). I’m really proud of the work that went into this set and look forward to sharing it soon. It is an all time honor to be a queer member of the iconic roster of artists who have played The Do Lab 🧪🏳️‍🌈 Thank you to @trilliumencantada for your trust and @taytaystayt @christophermajor for your work in making this incredible opportunity happen. Major gratitude as well to everyone, old friends and new, who made it out early to be a part of this moment - it means a great deal to me, and I’ll never forget seeing your faces out there. And lastly, big ups to the incredible crew who make this behemoth music festival happen against all the odds and the elements. 9.14.2024 💍 When asked, I keep referring to it as “the perfect day”, because it really was. I got to marry my best friend in the whole world and kickstart the next chapter of our lives together as husbands, surrounded by an immeasurable amount of love (and disco balls) in a lush greenhouse in Downtown LA. 🌿🪩 I walked into the venue in my sweatpants and sandals, and burst into tears when I saw all of the love that had been put into making our day beyond gorgeous by some of our closest friends and amazing event team (credits below). 💞 The ceremony was divine and perfectly captured our essence - lots of laughter, impeccable taste in music, and many happy tears. Justin’s vows were incredibly moving and reminded me (like he does every day) how loved I am and why we adore each other so much. It was truly a perfect day. I’m so excited to spend the rest of my life with my handsome, goofy, gentle, spicy, sweet husband ✨ Here’s some photos of first looks and our ceremony by my dear friend @imkeiki . very happy to share my set from @thedolab w1 up now on SoundCloud 🌴🏳️‍🌈 I needed to open up day 3 at the Do LaB with an hour that felt quintessentially me. I spent weeks digging through my favorite tracks, artists, and labels - new releases and classics - and bottled up my own brand of daytime festival magic. I started with a dreamy desert soundscape that gradually transposed itself into queer partygirl mode (and I made a number of custom edits just for this, which are sprinkled throughout 👌). We danced with the epic wind coming in all around us (my own personal wind machine hellurrrr).
