To whoever is seeing or reading this, 2025 has been a year of immense highs. And at times, the most devastating of lows. Musically, it has been one of the most successful of my life. From touring twice, playing in cities I’ve never been to much less heard of, with the opportunity to meet so many people along the way, playing venues I’ve thought about for years, being apart of more projects and a community that brings me much joy. Personally, it’s been one of the most challenging and grief filled. A recurring theme I’ve noticed is that it seems like a lot of my friends, family and peers have been dealing with similar issues. In the spirit of giving and featuring the eternally talented Ezra Burns, I present to you “soldiers”, the full song exclusively available on my YouTube, SoundCloud page. With the full lyrics in the description. I wrote this song a few months ago reflecting on the year it’s been and how so many of us go through life everyday fighting our own individual battles.
