We are so incredibly pleased to have Ryan Williams @rywilltry playing the role of Corin, our sailor and fisherman in our film SAILOR (working title)
(Please note all other casting will be decided when we have confirmed our shooting dates!)
Ryan is a London-based character actor with over a decade of comprehensive training across classical and contemporary disciplines. Originally from Hamilton, Scotland, his early foundation in youth theatre led to a Distinction from LAMDA at age 17, followed by training at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland.
As a practitioner, Ryan specializes in physically grounded and psychologically detailed character work, utilizing a toolkit that includes Method, Vakhtangov, Meisner, and the Demidov techniques. His stage experience spans classical drama and contemporary comedy, with notable roles including Macduff in Macbeth, Franco Begbie in Trainspotting and - most recently - Jim Thomas in Two Come Home at The Cockpit Theatre. All performances that have garnered critical praise for their emotional intensity and precise comedic timing.

Two Come Home pulls you into the living room of Evan, a young man trapped by poverty and anger more than by queerness. Written, composed and performed by @joeeasonart , this play with music brings moments of raw pain and surprising tenderness.
The connection between Evan and Jim, played by @rywilltry , feels truly lived in. The ensemble of @_kristalarsen , michaelclaff, @hannelorejehane , @theemilymoment and @elizabethcleonemccullough surround them with claustrophobic intimacy.
Direction by @isobel_sheard and lighting by Samuel Button Bell create striking images, while the music, performed live by @theemilymoment and @elizabethcleonemccullough , cuts deep when it is allowed space to breathe.
There are jagged edges, and at times the staging sits too still, but the honesty of the performances and the weight of the story make this an unforgettable night.
Two Come Home runs at @cockpittheatre from 2 to 13 September. Tickets available through the Cockpit Theatre website.
