I've spent a lot of time sitting on the idea of what a chapter of one's life may be, and what might end one. I have always been a very "technical" person, focusing on hypotheticals and technicalities, like a genie with his three wishes. Despite the month or so I have been in college, I have been hesitant to call myself an adult, purely for the reason that I am not yet 18. This leads me back to the idea of chapters. Is this most recent chapter of my life over because my phone is no longer in a Yondr pouch? Yes and no. I think. I look around my dorm and see memories plastered on my wall. Letters from friends, photo booth sheets from Eastview mall, a signed picture from Ed Jackser. I assumed that all of this would have indicated a sense of finality, but I'm finding that this isn't the case. Sure, the technical and physical aspects of my previous chapter may be over, but the ink is bleeding into the next page. All in all, I think I'm making a bigger deal out of this than there needs to be. There is no expectation for me to understand and pinpoint an anecdotal list of my full life experiences, because that would mean my life is over. And my life is far from over.

SCROOGE!!! (plus a little play that goes wrong) i cant believe this shits over. ive been doing shows since i was in 5th grade, and i wouldn't be here with the friends i have without it. id be some loser kid at east high school with no friends. thank you absolutely everyone ive had the pleasure of working with over the last several years. i truly appreciate all of you. and i love my friends so fucking much. i fucking love you guys. your what makes this shit fun. i hope we keep all our wonderful friendships in the future. no matter what i may say, theatre has always been and always be a very very important part of my life. and even though im leaving it, in some way, i will never be without it.
