Officially @bjiosalumni x @ladiesofsound.la 🥺🌐
Been processing for a whole week this year long journey of learning how to DJ and what a dream grad was. Thank you to the @djbabuforeal , @ogdjclos , & @djflipflop for your guidance and wisdom each week, it’s been such an honor to learn from the best! Shoutout to all the BJIOS staff and BJIOS community for being a bright spot in my life - can’t believe I’m part of this legacy. Thanks to everyone who showed up and showed out, supported me in person or from afar. Just the beginning - more soon! 🤭
Love you forever @x_fadedcrew 🫶🏽

T-Minus 2 Weeks till @beatjunkieios foundation Grad!
April will officially mark 1 year of my DJ journey. Taking a step back Im glad I took this leap to pursue a brand new passion of mine. 10 months of school while balancing my full time has honestly been a struggle bus but I wouldn’t trade it for the world. I’m honestly so lucky to be doing things I love 😮💨🚎
feeling a little kawawa that time has flown by so quickly but grateful for my classmates and teachers who became my family along the way. The support has been unmmatched and Its truly kept me going when Iife be life-ing bruh. Just a reminder to myself that im almost there & keeping myself accountable to finish strong 💪🏽

Final Prep 🤓📚
Can’t believe we are almost at the end of foundation. This level is probably my favorite with the most discovery & breakthroughs. ✨
Gimme What You Got - La Pamplemousse
You’ll Like It Too (I Know You Got Soul) - Funkadelic
Funky Drummer - James Brown
Kool Is Back - FUNK INC
House is a feeling 🏠 another few weeks until another final.
Trying new things, making fun discoveries and enjoying the process. Putting those 10K hours to make the practice permanent.
Ngl this level is really challenging me to go out of my comfort zone and to inspire more play vs perfectionism.

LVL2 ✅
Time is going by so fast, completed our first vinyl final. So proud of everyone in my class for getting up on stage. Everyone is so supportive and it’s so nice to call this group my family.

Learning to trust the process and give myself grace for “messing up”. Really learning to roll with the punches and trust myself more. Some days I’m LOCKED IN, some days I’m not. Developing split listening is truly a skill. Being present with where I’m at and acknowledging I’ve come so far and it’s just beginning. I’m proud of myself for showing up each week.
