Fianlly back home after 23 days on the road. 7,200 miles, Philadelphia to the Arctic Ocean.
This trip, like all our other trips with @coast2coasttireroast have always been a great adventure - but this one was going to be the biggest… and it certainly was.
@86snowwhite has been thinking of and planning this trip for well over 2+ years and it helped to make everything go as smoothly as possible. And while we were definitely over prepared (as you should be), the entire trip was way more accessible than any of us ever expected it to be.
Going into the trip, the Internet and various people would tell us certain things and we would plan and hope for the best at attempting some of these roads. Even during our trip, locals and others traveling the road, also warned us of “terrible” rough roads and obstacles. But as every mile went on, we did not encounter any major obstacles or rough roads… just a more beautiful scenery.
So we were fortunate to encounter good road and weather conditions during our trip. But make no mistake, the Dempster especially should still be treated with focus and care… there were plenty of vehicles on the side of the road of those less fortunate. With proper A/T tires and following the speed limit, you should have no problems with navigating a road such as this. 
I guess long story short:
Sometimes, things aren’t always as bad as one might perceive them to be. Don’t let stress or fear prevent you from doing things that might be difficult. You might come to find out that it’s not so bad.
Get out and enjoy the world in any way you can. #takethecar
Me and Scott have many terabytes of footage to sort through and create a video from. Will try and provide updates on that when we can… but definitely stay tuned for our biggest and hopefully best video yet ❤️

We are starting our own L’oe Show Prep this coming weekend in Pottstown, with some of our staff bringing their cars in from around the country for a weekend of wrenching and hanging out. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
There’s a Mk3 VR6 coming from Detroit, a Mk2 Jetta 1.8T all-wheel-drive from upstate Pennsylvania, Mk4 Golf R32 from California, and more. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
We’ll be doing service work and bolting parts on from all of our favourite companies with inbound shipments from FCP Euro, oils and additives from LIQUI MOLY, filters from Hengst, tires from Delinte, steering and suspension parts from Meyle, the 1.8T swap is getting a Unitronic ECU tune. and we think that the Mk3 Jetta should get lowered while it’s here also.. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
If you would like to hang out, we will be at the Orchid Euro workshop all day Saturday and Sunday, with these specific times planned : ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
SATURDAY 5pm / Pizza at Argento’s, hangs after.
SUBDAY 9:30-11:30am / Disassembled cars and coffee at Orchid Euro. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
The weather will be cold, and the heat will be low, so dress appropriately, and we will have Ross-Tech VCDS and some extra parts on hand if you need us to point in your engine bays and scratch our heads along with you.
