The great plains, long exanses - how far light will travel.
Legend says that in 1799, a beam was shot west, from Washington Lodge No. 22 in Alexandria. Legend continues, stating “It is still on its way, but got stuck in a wormhole around Springfield that runs along the train tracks.”
Its passage momentarily resulted in a massive bioluminescent school of tadpoles which all died prematurely, creating sandbar burial mounds along the Mississippi river. A nearby nuclear fluoride facility was wrongfully accused for the phenomenon, receiving public backlash for the uncanny glowing mounds. Upon investigation, the facility was found to have been obsolete for years, operating illegally, as a locally organized home and school teaching valuable trades, arts, and sciences, providing vital rituals for the pastoral community. The group was provided an LLC and awarded millions of dollars in dept for the rent they had been unknowingly accumulating. Unable to meet these financial demands, the space was renovated into a community organized, vertically integrated, tech-powered food delivery platform that acts as a digital food hall, allowing customers to order dishes from multiple restaurants and cuisines within a single order from one physical location.
