I saw a post that said to practice gratitude anytime I’m feeling appreciative of anything, so here goes it…
I’m forever grateful for the beautiful life & community I’ve created for myself. Grateful for my long distance besties who HELD ME DOWN last summer, turning one of the worst weekends in my life into an unforgettable week of adventure. For my friends who keep me going, uplift me & inspire me everyday. For the people who speak highly of me even when I’m not around. For everyone who supported my business & creativity. For the people who listened to me break down during my struggles & to everyone who lifted me when I was down w/o even knowing. To those who showed up for me when I least expected it and to those who gave me so much grace & understanding. To the people who taught me new things & to those who I met along my adventures but didn’t stay connected with! While everything looks so great I struggled a lot last year with a couple near death experiences, undiagnosed ADHD problems causing severe depressive episodes & chronic pain/illness. On some real shit it SUCKED & I had to take a bad bitch break. Grateful for myself because I won’t allow those moments can’t keep a bad bitch down, matter of fact, I refuse to let that happen. Grateful for being able to look back and see that no matter what I was going through I was consistently surrounded by love, creativity, & inspiration from the beautiful people in my life. Grateful for @knotzland for granting me with my first artist residency, seeing me as the creative I am & so much more, allowing me to take my creativity with fashion to the next level!!
Whether you’re pictured here or not, doesn’t determine my level of love for you it just means WE GOTTA TAKE FLICKS TOGETHER THIS YEAR & know I deeply appreciate my peoples (you know who you are 🫶🏿) & the lovely people I met on my adventures. As I dive into my creativity, styling, design & whatever else the world offers me, I move with intention to show fashion as an art, a tool for self expression & an act of rebellion❤️🔥
