Years of having @kceface jump into timed photos at remote locations paid off! As we got to this location, she wanted a photo here and we were all on our own. I had known this how I’d do it for awhile, but was waiting for the right moment. This was the moment. Love you @kceface . Bonus Timelapse of the whole thing on second slide.
There is so much going on at this spot it’s difficult to do it justice. Tried to get far enough away from the mist but I still was constantly wiping my lens. If you haven’t visited, I highly recommend it.
Having no internet during a shelter in place is less than ideal and is truly testing my reserve. Thinking back to good times exploring new places. This beach used to be covered in rounded smooth glass that was leftover from a landfill. You can still see some pieces in the photo glistening, but over the years tourists have taken the majority of it with them. Stay positive out there! 🌅
I hope everyone is doing well during these troublesome times. I’m not one for many words on this platform, but I hope all are heeding the many warnings they have been hearing over the past couple days/weeks. Stay inside and stay away from contact from others. Now is the time to learn a new skill, open a book, or value your time with your loved ones. It’s tough to keep your mind off of the world that surrounds you but try to allow yourself some solace when you can. And for god sakes stop buying so much toilet paper!
I’ve been wanting to shoot this spot for years, but just never got around to it. The day I chose to go here also happened to be day Venom 2 was filming here. Parked about 6 blocks away and had to sprint to catch this.
