After more than 5.5 exhilarating years, ringing down my curtain at VICE.
Since January 2019, I’ve lived a teenage aspiration working at the biggest independent youth culture media group, despite only pulling off a half-decent kickflip and being illiterate when it comes to novels and papers on anarchistic ideals.
Still, I managed to obtain my spot and helped create growth and facilitate this hub where creativity, critical thinking, inclusivity and innovation were key. You could seldom feel this instantly rushing as hard through the corridors, which I still remember vividly from the minute I took my first steps into the Brussels and Amsterdam HQ’s.
Lobi to the creatives, editors, client partners, account management, production teams, web developers, legal reps and people’s department; you know who you are, you are some of the funniest, coolest, kindest and most interesting people I’ve met, FAM 4 LYFE, no doubt! S/O to the freelancers, designers, talents & other partners; we couldn’t have done it without your fantastic collaboration. Big up to the brands, organizations, festivals and investors; mad respect for sticking your head out and believing in content that matters. And an extra big big kiss for
@rafdumont , thank you for the trust man, in hiring and mentoring me.
How lucky I have been to have experienced that thrill ride, creating culture, being part of the legacy.
