I’m proud to announce that I’m going to be a dad to a beautiful baby girl, and I’m committed to being there for her every way I can.
I have always wanted to name her Aurora so I went up to Fairbanks to see the lights before she is born.
Despite everything else, I already love my daughter. I can’t wait to meet and raise my little winter princess.
Feeling incredibly grateful to be back up guiding! There’s something magical about working up in the mountains, surrounded by breathtaking views and an amazing group of people. I honestly consider this career a true blessing—it’s helped in evolving me into the nature boy I am today. I feel truly blessed to have such breathtaking views only 3hours away. Returning to hiking after any of my surgeries has been empowering yet this one was a bit more challenging. Apparently having your Achilles tendon cut can really make hiking significantly difficult while you heal😅. No matter the fact I’m feel so lucky for countless reasons!!! The adventures continue! I love how Mr Kitty puts up with my desire to explore no matter the conditions, he did so well in the backpack with his umbrella keeping him dry most of the time😂. Had a blast being out hiking all day yesterday. Busted out my organized movements jacket when the storms picked up a bit and stayed completely dry! Thank you @motiiivation_ for being a friend I can call on to go on an adventure with.
Been proud of myself for getting out and not letting the fact I’m having to do these adventures solo stop me. That being said whatever I saw watching me as I tried to see the northern lights scared the shit outta me and made me definitely wish I had some company, you know in case we had to fight it😅

Feeling incredibly grateful for my family. I am blessed to have parents that took me to Utah’s beautiful State and National Parks growing up. The stunning views and quality time together down in Lake Powell made it a trip to remember. Here’s to many more adventures!!!
Fall is such a beautiful time of year but it’s also an important for me to focus on my mental health before winter sets in. As the days get shorter and the weather gets colder getting out into nature is top priority, whether it’s hammocking in the park ,hiking in the mountains, or just having a nice fire. Let’s make sure we’re taking the time to ground ourselves and enjoy the beauty around us. 🍁🍂💛
