Color is finally injecting coming back into the streets and trees and shrubs of NYC. Thank god. No better time to bring this maximalist color injection straight to the heart. The Etsy Holiday Press Preview Dinner — a favorite repeat event for us at Rye Workshop — was all the pattern, all the color, all the flavor and interaction and coziness we want in an event. There were chances to hand embroider a set of cocktail napkins, jazz up your own fabric frame, introduce yourself to gifting trends to solve your life and just some damn fine company and good food from @bottinonyc . The dream team at @afrikarmando captured the coziness beautifully (and always love splitting a bottle of Pinot with you.)

This time last year we were shipping out to LA to install The Finisher’s Market, a free produce market we designed for @drinkag1 to provide best in class produce sourced from local farms via the incomparable @foodaccessla . As part of the inaugural Crenshaw Mile, a run event for pros and newbies alike celebrating the people and businesses of Crenshaw Blvd, we were thrilled to drag around a thousand pounds of food from farm to AirBNB to pop up and see so many excited and shining faces filling up their tote bags after the event. 🥬🥕🌶️🥒🥦So rewarding and such an amazing and talented group! Almost turned me into a runner. Almost.

Dream project! ⚡️⚡️ We were thrilled when @nymag reached out to us to manage the interior design and event design for The Cut Cafe, a full takeover of Bluestone Lane Cafe in Tribeca during NYFW. Working with their lively creative team, we envisioned a totally new look for the space — from lighting to upholstery to custom artwork and a 24ft long wheat paste wall of magazine cutouts.

This @adobe Photoshop Mobile launch event was a banner one for us last year. In the gray of winter, we brought saturated color to the max. This event had everything : tech, interactive demos, cozy lounges, custom art, a fully functional Creative Cafe, and the sexiest drink + food displays. Let’s start with a goodie from last November — the launch of some amazing product collaborations between Molly Baz and her v cool husband Willett and 2 incredible designers and Finalists in the annual Etsy Design Awards. With a menu spearheaded by the incredible Gerardo Gonzalez and hosted by Molly, Willet and the incomparable @daynaisomjohnson , we welcomed 40 guests to The Oliver House in LA for martinis in collab glasses made by @catskillglassworks and perfect silver tabletop pieces from @dionne_reve .
A perfect night - more to come from this one and so much more Rye Workshop has been up to 🤘✨
