Something cool. Plants have tiny bioelectrical signals that change when they get light, water, or are touched 🌱⚡️
Here, Ryan Connors, our co-songwriter and composer for SWEET PEONY, clips sensors to leaves to read those changes... kind of like a heart monitor reading a heartbeat. Those signals are sent into a Pocket Scion that converts them into synth notes, rhythms, and textures to use for the score. The plant isn’t choosing melodies, but its living reactions shape how the music moves and grows 🎶🌿

Hozier world tour is done and in the books! Thank you to all the fans who came out to see a show this tour. None of this would be possible without you! Thank you to @hozier for trusting me to be your musical director and keyboardist. Your music is special and you are a truly unique artist dedicated to the craft of songwriting and performing. It is inspiring to see the world fall in love with your music. What a wild ride it’s been these past three years!!
Thank you to the band for crushing these shows night after night (sometimes on no sleep and lots of travel) Absolute troopers! Thank you to our incredible crew who really busted their asses loading out all night and driving ahead to the next town to set it all up again! It’s been a privilege to be a part of such an impressive team.
And finally, thank you to my beautiful wife @annieindiana for supporting me even when it seemed impossible. You are a rock and I’d be lost without you. Looking forward to being back in Nashville for more musical adventures and time with friends. Catch y’all on the next world tour!!
