1992 - Issy Plaine (photo: @old_paris_tag ). We found this abandoned warehouse near the Rer C train tracks, and for a while it became our painting spot - we also hit the train that was parked at the nearby station, Satur, Kenor another guy and I, and got chased (we just reached the train from the platform in broad daylight and started painting it, without even trying to do any preliminary surveillance). Eventually other writers learnt about that spot once we started painting the outside walls that were visible when riding the train. I liked that part of graff culture, exploring, going to abandoned places where most people donāt go - at that time writing was pretty much an underground culture with nothing to gain except trouble. Good old days with @koolfunc88@jeanlabourdette@davidcheniere@nassyo1art@jcearl01@milesunlimitedtouringclub@xavier_oner@ayerockvad@hoctez@mey_labeille Septo, Loeek, Hobsay and the rest of the crew.
1995 - Rue Dunois Hall of Fame, Paris XIII (photo: Xplicit Graffix magazine). We started painting this wall because it was in our friendsā neighborhood - Soper, Natio, Soul, Money, Drym, Bugz, Shone⦠then for a little while it kind of became our Hall of fame. This wall brought the TW, PCP, 156 and MAC crews together - Saten, Sirius, Psy, Natio, Satur, Turf, Stak, myself, Peuca, Colorz, Creez, Number 6 and his brother, Oshet, Hoctez, Lazoo, Mir, Kongo, Juan, Alex. I remember cool summer days, spliffs and beers, pitbulls, loud music, bbqs and friends hanging around.
I did a lot of characters in the past, from copying old school B-boys with Kangols and name plates of Doze or Jay, I then admired Mode2ās scenes, but it was really the PCP crew with guys like Number6, Peuca with their crazy characters and dope 3D lighting effects that inspired me. These guys donāt get enough credit, but for good or bad they opened a big door for all the 3D lighting scifi cartoonish styles you can see in graff and street art today.
90s criminology (probably 93-94), I painted this spot with Brone. At that time I think a lot of train tracks were quite easy to access, sometimes I would go without any paint and just look at the tags and pieces. #ryckone #thechef #twmobb
#throwback with Earl (Vad) and Ema (Kca) some time in the 90s, the station has the classic āmazeā pattern. Got interrupted by some cops or security running up from the other side of the station, escaped on the tracks to avoid getting busted. #twmobb #vaaudiable
