It’s a different thing processing loss as we age. It carries a deep message, and is so layered with emotion that it feels like a wave hitting you in the face. It hurts a great deal, yet in the same breath somehow holds space for gratitude. Tim, I’m so very grateful to call you a friend. Thank you for all the late night conversations, the sparks of light, and keeping our curiosities alive. You’ve inspired me in many ways, and I’ll miss you brother.
