Corbin Comedy returns tonight inside @bar10atcorbin at @corbinbowl , after a very successful epic week of comedy at the Bowl last week with Netflix. The Valley Comedy is a Joke Fest in underway. And Corbin Comedy is a part of this epic sprawling shows and mics to watch and perform on across the Valley this month.

This could have been the best show at the Scene. Every month, I have to one up the show. And it's not disappointing.
The comics crushed. One after another. The crowd was killer. The drinks were flowing. And when you end the night with bar regulars hugging you and saying thank you Valley Jesus. Maybe i am doing something good for the 818.

Now that @netflixisajoke wrapped up last night. My original concept that brought Netlfix to the Valley is ramping up.
The month-long festival spans across the valley, with open mics and comedy shows across the San Fernando Valley.
Happy Mothers Day to my beautiful wife @jjrodriguez84 . My muse, my ride or die. My biggest fan. The key to my survival when I was fighting for my life.
And my mother Debbie. Tough as nails, old school parenting. That helped shape me into the person I am today.

A little story to tell.
My little show that was my way of highlighting the Valley Comedy scene got the attention of Netflix.
This wss there first year expanding the festival to smaller rooms. Where you can see your neighborhood watering holes get a piece of the pie.
When I posted the Valley Comedy Scene is a Joke flyer. It got the attention of Netflix. As I thought it was in trouble with some sort of copyright issue. It was more about a collaboration. Since my vast knowledge of Valley Comedy. I offered my rooms and a few of my friends rooms. And the rest is history.
Seriously, what a honor to be a part of something so cool.
If they ask me again in 2 years. OF COURSE I'LL SAY YES.

I do this because I love comedy. As I feel like the underdog in this scene. Last night, I walked out feeling on top for a change. Which I will ride this wave into the weekend and then softly land into my monthly show at The Scene on Tuesday. And then I can rest a little.
But wow, what a night.
