For 3 months we’ve been processing the loss of our sweet, joyful, hilarious, perfect boy.
It was swift and he waited until we were gone, departing for 4 weeks of work and a brief vacation, to go. We never saw him sick or suffer and for that we are truly grateful.
We will forever grieve this loss. It’s new territory for us. He’s been with us for almost our entire relationship. He’s our home. The authentic love and lessons this animal gave us, for almost 16 years, is unlike anything we’ve ever experienced.
Since 6/19 we’ve been adjusting to life without him. And while his physical absence hits us at different moments, it’s wild how present he is every day. These moments provide peace and comfort in knowing that he is still with us, in another way.
Grieving a pet is so incredibly unique. It’s personal and difficult to articulate — many of you know it well. We’re feeling immense gratitude for our time together. It was rich and full, and because of that, it will keep him with us always.
I’ve been on and off the island for over 20 yrs now. Crazy! What a joy & honor it’s been being a part of this process once again and putting this 🔥🔥🔥@mammamiathetour together with the most solid TEAM of artists, designers, musicians, managers, supervisors, crew, producers & all the folks that contributed their talents.
So many memories & friendships made over the years — the nostalgia hit me hard on this one! I am immensely grateful for this sweet, little show that continues to show up in my life.
