Here’s the first of two object illustrations we created for the Montfort project. They were primarily designed for the website, where clicking on each illustration leads to an expanded scene around the fort. Once we finished up with the logo and other primary brand assets, we jumped into creating illustrations. This hero illustration I created for Montfort kicked off the vision of picturing yourself at this inviting destination. It quickly became a standout piece across various designs, particularly shining on the homepage of their website. To enhance the website further, the team wanted to incorporate subtle animations, which I was also more than stoked to help with. I’ve always been a huge fan of @malikafavre work, so I felt this project was the perfect opportunity to infuse her minimalist style with Montfort’s vibrant, contrasting colors and I’m super happy with how this and the other illustrations we worked on turned out. Last year I had the pleasure of heading up this branding project for the awesome @onboxcreative for their client Montfort, a private credit company based out of Vancouver BC. Collaborating with the team, I delved into the branding, Illustration and motion and I’m stoked with where it all ended up and to share the project. We developed a concept for Montfort that goes beyond the conventional financial brand, shaping it into a lifestyle destination where you can envision yourself living and thriving in your financial endeavours. To achieve this, we established a brand exuding trustworthiness through illustrations that whisk you away to this luxurious place. Firstly, we designed this logo mark - an icon reminiscent of a fort but fashioned into an ‘M’, instilling the trusted look and feel desired for their clientele. It’s complimented by a customized serif wordmark, evoking an immediate sense of security & trust. Stoked to share more soon and thanks again to Onbox for the opportunity 🙌🙌🙌
