Death to a caterpillar is the end of the world, but to the world, it’s a butterfly. I thought a lot about what I would write when this day would come, but I don’t think I’ve prepared myself for it. Yet I’ve come to realize that one could never be prepared.
You saved my life, and I wish I could’ve saved yours. This isn’t the end, it’s just a door I can’t follow you through this time.
I’ll see you when I see you. I love you and thank you for the past 14 years.

上週五,@blackwater.rc 與 日本品牌 @descente_tw 的跑聚,便是在這樣的狀態中進行。
再次感謝 @descente_tw 團隊的邀請。

Movement still holds another possibility. It brings us back into the body, and quietly back toward each other. Effort without display. Motion that doesn’t need justification.
Running with @descente_tw lived naturally in that space. The brand operates through restraint and reduction. The Enerzite Ride V2 settled in quickly. Stable. Unassuming. They stayed out of the way, allowing the body to do what it already knows.
That work happens in motion. In how we move, what we notice, what we carry forward. A reminder that movement is not a means to an end, but a language. One that says: I am here. I am moving, and that is enough.

Thank you @nordarun and @billy780908@fieldday_official for having us last Friday and sharing a few quiet hours on the trail. Great conversations, coffee, and movement. Until the next one.

Deep in the trenches.
The body became both question and answer. First race of the season and ran under injury, which revealed more fracture than form.
Thank you to @jiafyhsu@newbalance for the sweet ride that carried me across the line.

Recent moments of suffering.
‘Pain is inevitable. Suffering is optional. Say you’re running and you start to think, Man this hurts, I can’t take it anymore. The hurt part is an unavoidable reality, but whether or not you can stand any more is up to the runner himself. This pretty much sums up the most important aspect of marathon running’
