A view of Vía de la Paz in 1926 where it all began. This land would go on to shape families, businesses, and generations to create the incredible community we cherish today. Vía de la Paz has been home to so many. Pre-fire, it’s where our Jancula Group office stood, where I used to live in high school and where my grandmother owned a home. It’s where so many local businesses thrived, where generations have grown at Palisades Charter Elementary, where one of LA’s first film studios Inceville once existed (more on this in another post), where the community methodist church dated back to 1929 brought people together, and where families have built their lives.
